If you've been meaning to check the halyards (ropes) on your flagpoles to make sure they are working for ALL the important flag raising events. Days of Remembrance, ANZAC Day, Australia Day are all important days to be flying the Aussie spirit, the flag.

Southern Cross International is offering a SPECIAL for a limited time only. A Flagpole Health Check
* Includes checking the halyard (rope) for wear and tear. If badly frayed, ropes may soon break and if they break, they may require unbolting and lowering of the flagpole to fix, or worse the need for a costly Cherry Picker. Not only very expensive starting at around $ 1000, but could be much more if access is difficult.
* Checking the flag clips and making sure they are not wearing away and the flag unclipping.
* Checking the necklace or weighted collar, used to help keep the flag in place when flying and bring the flag down to ground level.
If there are repairs to be made we will recommend them to you as follows;
* To re rope the flagpole is $ 4.00 per metre including rope and rope crimps. Please double the size of the flagpole to know the amount of rope needed. For example 6 m = 12 m of rope required.
* To replace the flag clips if worn – nylon clips @ $ 3.00 ea – 2 required per pole
* Weighted necklaces invariably wear out every 2 + years – To suit 6m = $ 55.00, To suit 9m = $ 65.00 ,
To suit 12m = $ 75.00
Minimum inspection fee is $ 100.00 + gst……………Payable upon completion…..B U T if we attend site and find nothing wrong …….we’ll give you an Australian 1800 x 900 mm Polyester flag ready to fly with clips as part of the inspection. So lets say your flagpole is a real problem…..rope is on the way out, clips are badly worn or missing even……Worst case scenario would be;
* 6 metre flagpole to re – rope and new clips, crimps and a new weighted necklace - $ 411.00 + gst
If you book a flagpole Health check and there is absolutely nothing wrong then the inspection will at least give you peace of mind…A N D ……the flag is on us for FREE. Fly the flag and promote the Aussie spirit.
