Bunting
Material is Polyester woven 160 gsm for use Indoors or Outdoors. Dull and heavy material. Prints best with screen printing through to side two, Digital printing can only print one side as the material is so course, the ink will simply NOT penetrate the fibres. This fabric is still the first choice for flags that are appliqued (made by hand). Long life fabric of between 6 - 9 months outdoors in all weather conditions.
Chiffon
Material is Polyester knitted lightweight 65 gsm for use Indoors only. Stocking like material and very light. Prints best with Dye sublimation and the ink penetrates perfectly. Recommended ONLY as an indoor fabric. If displayed in a window space or next to a window, the sun may increase the fading of the inks and in turn the life of the article.
Lycra
Material is Polyester knitted 100 gsm for use Indoors or Outdoors. Shiny, stretchy and lightweight. Prints best with Dye sublimation or Digitally, with minimal bleed to side 2. Great for swim wear or unusual projects that require stretchy images. Reasonable life of between 4 - 6 months outdoors.
Organza
Material is Polyester knitted 45 gsm for use Indoors only. Super sheen and the ultimate veil type fabric. Prints only with Dye sublimation and the ink penetrates perfectly.
Polyblock
This is a fabric I helped innovate via an Australian Government Grant in the early 90's. The Material is Polyester knitted 230 gsm for use Indoors or Outdoors. Dull and very heavy with a block out fabric sandwiched in the middle. Prints only with Dye sublimation, single sided, or double sided, same image, or two different images, correctly reading on both sides. You can't see image A on the B side or vice versa. Long life fabric of between 6 - 9 months outdoors in all weather conditions. Has been known to last longer than 5 years indoors. Fast becoming an alternate choice for corporate applique flags demanding true double sided printing where the logo must read the correct way as you view the design, especially if the wind only blows in one direction for most of the day. Another reason it's become a very popular fabric is due to the cost, roughly 30% or less when compared to applique costs.

Although I take all reasonable care in everything I do, a known issue exists with the selvage of most fabric rolls. During the manufacturing process, the fabric is woven or spun into fabric and then rolled for ease of shipping, usually onto a plastic or cardboard tube. It's during the rolling process that tension is applied and the selvage edge ( either end of the roll) of the fabric is stretched slightly. When flags and banners are then created onto fabric and hung, the edges tend to appear as uneven, or the edges seem to be crooked. Fabric is not a stiff substrate and follows its own inherent qualities established when the fabric is woven or spun. Hanging fabric banners will never contain a perfectly straight edge as it is an impossibility for the fabric to hang taught and straight. It will always favour the least tensioned weave ( warp or weft) within the manufacturing process.
